Christopher Shen

Principal Consultant Christopher Shen is a Psychologist and Leadership Specialist who has a passion for developing high performance solutions in the workplace – encompassing private, public, educational and sport sectors.

Christopher’s speciality is in strategic leadership assessment and development. Even those who have made it to the top of their endeavours call on his expertise. Whether it is CEOs, high performing executives, or brilliant students, such high achievers also need coaching and mentoring on how to stay at their peak, or future directions and strategies that ensure they continue to achieve.  Christopher offers Executive Coaching, leadership development programs, and team building workshops to foster talent. 

He also teaches organisations to identify and nurture high achievers in their workplace, by conducting emerging leaders programs and facilitating talent identification practices. Training is also conducted to help leaders and managers better perform in their jobs, develop their leadership skills and behaviours, as well as facilitate their operational and strategic vision and planning.

Christopher graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in psychology from Monash University in 1994, and has undertaken postgraduate studies in applied psychology at Victoria University. His career includes senior appointments with international strategic human resources consulting firms DDI Asia Pacific International and DBM.

Christopher’s thoughts on leadership and performance have been published in publications including the Australian Financial Review, Australian Chief Executive, The Sydney Morning Herald, and BOSS magazine.

Christopher is a Registered Psychologist. He holds membership of the Australian Psychological Society, Australian Institute of Management, and the Australian Human Resources Institute. He is also a winner of the Young Hero Award for Business Endeavour (1997), and a Finalist in the Young Australian of the Year Awards for Career Achievement (1999).

A key motivation of Christopher's corporate work is his passion for elite achievement in sport and personal development. He has represented Australia in Freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling, and competed in 4 Mixed Martial Arts fights. Christopher has also coached Wrestling in the Australian Football League.

Christopher is also an actor, and has performed in feature films, TV series, TV commercials, and print advertising.
